A special thank you to everyone who donated their resources, time, and talent!
ELIZABETHTON — The Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce usually holds ribbon-cutting events for new businesses just opening their doors in the community, but the group was present Tuesday in the parking lot of the TLC Community Center to cut a ribbon for an organization that has been doing a long list of good works in the county for decades.

Something HUGE is coming!!! We are so grateful to God for providing!! The TLC Community Center is waiting on our first brand new mobile food trailer to arrive. This trailer is now our “Cup Of Grace Cafe”. It will be in random places throughout the county to feed those in need for free!!!!
We welcome church groups and organizations that would like to sign up to help. I can’t wait to set up in Little Milligan , Roan Mountain, and the head of Stoney Creek. These are our harder to reach areas due to people not having transportation.. This trailer will also be used in the summer to help provide free, amazing food to our local kids .
We feel this is an amazing outreach to share Christ but to also reach those not only hungry but to share the risk of sex, drugs and alcohol. We will be sharing items off our menu soon for anyone to donate to help feed our community. We are so thankful for the company’s donation to allow us to purchase this trailer. They chose to stay anonymous but God knows who they are and will bless them. Please pray for even more doors to be opened in this new outreach.
The TLC Community Center was founded to meet the needs of our
community.
The TLC Community Center and Abortion Alternatives and
Women's Center (AA&WC) is a Christian Ministry program
which provides alternatives to abortion; pregnancy's related
services for women, men and their families; and promotes
abstinence as a safe healthy lifestyle for unmarried persons.
We also provide additional support to our member clients and
members of the community to assist them with the needs of
daily living.
“It is one thing to stand for life but it’s another to support life, so we’ve taken it to the next level”
The next level also includes a summer meal program for kids, now in its 16th year, 92,000 meals in nine weeks.

Angie Odom, founder and director of the center, said this could be the most difficult of those years.
“A lot of people tell me they think this should be an easy year this year because the school systems are providing food this year because of COVID-19,” Odom said.
